Abstract
Objective To investigate the correlation between the degree of neurological deficit and negative emotions in patients with acute cerebral infarction. Methods A total of 93 patients with acute cerebral infarction(onset time<24 h)treated in our hospital from divided into three groups according to the degree of neurological deficit:mild deficit group(n=32),moderate deficit group(n=35),and severe deficit group(n=26).General patient information was collected, along with scores from the Self-Rating Anxiety Scale(SAS)and the Self-Rating Depression Scale(SDS).Results The more severe the neurological deficit in patients with acute cerebral infarction, the higher the SAS and SDS scores, with significant differences(P<0.05).There were differences in SAS and SDS scores among patients of different ages and nutritional statuses(P<0.05),while no significant differences were found in SDS scores among patients of different genders, smoking history, drinking history,or education levels(P>0.05).Correlation analysis indicated that SAS and SDS scores were positively correlated with the degree of neurological impairment in acute cerebral infarction patients, while age was negatively correlated and nutritional status was positively correlated(P<0.05).Multivariate logistic regression analysis showed that lower SAS and SDS scores were negatively associated with the degree of neurological deficit, while female gender, older age,and the presence of nutritional risk were risk factors(P<0.05).Conclusion Negative emotions in patients with acute cerebral infarction are associated with the degree of neurological deficit.SAS and SDS scores show a positive correlation with the degree of neurological impairment, while older age and nutritional risk are identified as risk factors.关键词
