Bering Strait:The Handle of the"Barbell"in the Large Arctic Transportation Network
摘要
Abstract
Against the backdrop of global climate warming,the Arctic ice sheet is melting at an accelerating pace,and the ice-covered shipping routes are gradually being developed and utilized.As the core region of this transformation,the Bering Strait is quickly becoming the focus of global attention.It is not only a key link between the Pacific and Atlantic Oceans but also a potential hub for global trade flows.This study argues that the Bering Strait serves as the"barbell"handle in the Large Arctic transportation network.Based on this,the study analyzes the potential risks of the Bering Strait and proposes strategic approaches to address these challenges.It suggests that through precise policy adjustments and active international cooperation,current risks can be addressed,and China can gain a strategic advantage in the Arctic region,ensuring the maximization of global transportation security and national strategic interests.关键词
