Data mining-based analysis of syndrome patterns and medication rules of traditional Chinese medicine in the treatment of myasthenia gravis

Abstract
Objective To analyze the syndrome patterns and medication rules of traditional Chinese medicine in the treat-ment of myasthenia gravis.Methods A comprehensive search of relevant literature was conducted across the CNKI,Wan-fang,and VIP databases from their inception to December 2024.After screening,53 articles were included.The methodological quality was assessed using a modified methodological index for non-randomized studies.Data on traditional Chinese medicine syndrome patterns,formulas,and Chinese materia medica were extracted,standardized,and analyzed by Excel 2021,SPSS 25.0,and SPSS Modeler 18.0 for frequency analysis and association rule mining.Results The overall methodological quality of the included literature was moderate,comprising 7(13.2%)high-quality,23(43.4%)medium-quality,and 23(43.4%)low-quality studies.Studies with control groups(n=38)demonstrated significantly higher quality than single-group studies(n=15).Data analysis revealed the most common syndrome patterns to be spleen-kidney deficiency,spleen-stomach qi deficiency,and dampness encumbering the spleen.Tonic formulas and dampness-resolving formulas were predominant.A total of 124 distinct Chinese materia medica were identified,with 24 high-frequency herbs(frequency≥8),primarily qi-tonifying and dampness-resolving agents.Association rule analysis identified Atractylodis Macrocephalae Rhizoma-Astragali Radix-Angelicae Sinensis Radix-Cimicifugae Rhizoma as the core herb combination.Conclusion The primary traditional Chinese medicine syndrome patterns for myasthenia gravis are spleen-kidney deficien-cy,spleen-stomach qi deficiency,and dampness encumbering the spleen.The core treatment principles involve supplementation and dampness elimination,utilizing qi-tonifying and dampness-resolving herbs.Future research should strengthen key methodological aspects such as sample size calculation and follow-up control.关键词
