Abstract
This article posits that the location of consumptive thirst lies in San Gao,and its key pathogenesis involves"the spleen incapable of dispersing essence,and San Gao failing to distribute essence to the whole body".The treatment of the disease should be based on three methods:nourishing yin and clearing heat,benefiting qi and nourishing yin,and promoting blood circulation and removing blood stasis.While modified Xiaoke An decoction is advised for the treatment of consumptive thirst,the paper proposes to differentiate its syndromes and to modulate prescriptions accordingly,including lung heat and fluid injury,excessive stomach heat,liver hyperactivity and spleen deficiency,both qi and yin deficiency,kidney yin deficiency,kidney yang deficiency and decline,both yin and yang deficiency,phlegm and blood stasis obstruction,etc.The article also introduces the comprehensive management therapy of"one rule and eight methods"for consumptive thirst and its prognosis and nursing,in order to provide new ideas and methods for the treatment of the disease.关键词
