时振声从"血实宜决之"辨治慢性肾炎经验
Shi Zhensheng's experience in the syndrome differentiation and treatment of chronic nephritis based on the theory of"performing purging or bloodletting in case of blood stasis or blood excess"

Abstract
Chronic nephritis is characterized by a prolonged course,which in turn leads to blood stasis.The formation of stasis induces the imbalance of qi,blood,body fluids,yin and yang,which may further coagulate and bind with various pathogenic factors,exacerbating the state of blood repletion.Therefore,Professor Shi Zhensheng posits that blood stasis acts as one of the pivotal pathogeneses in chronic nephritis.Drawing on the therapeutic principle of"performing purging or bloodletting in case of blood stasis or blood excess",he advocates initiating the treatment of the disease by activating blood circulation while concurrently eliminating water-dampness,pathogenic heat,qi stagnation and noxious toxins.This approach is tailored to the syndrome differentiation and treatment of chronic nephritis.Professor Shi Zhensheng further summarizes five therapeutic strategies for the disease:activating blood circulation and resolving stasis,dispelling dampness and promoting diuresis;clearing heat and dispersing the superficies,dispelling stasis and alleviating distension;promoting blood and qi circulations to detoxify and expel toxins;tonifying both qi and blood,harmonizing yin and yang in tandem.These methods provide a reference for treating chronic nephritis mainly characterized by blood stasis syndrome and its associated syndromes.关键词
