Study on the Diversity of Dark-Spored Myxomycetes in Soil Under Different Forest Types in Changbai Mountain and its Main Influencing Factors

Abstract
Myxomycetes are commonly found in terrestrial ecosystems and play a significant role among soil microorganisms.However,the diversity and primary factors influencing myxomycetes in soils across different forest types in the Changbai Mountains remain unclear.This study investigated the diversity of dark-spored myxomycetes in soils from dark coniferous forests,coniferous forests,broad-leaved forests,and mixed coniferous-broad-leaved forests in the Changbai Mountains using high-throughput sequencing technology.Multivariate correlation analysis was used to explore the relationships between dark-spored myxomycete communities and major soil microorganisms,soil physical and chemical properties,and enzyme activities.The findings revealed a total of 118 operational taxonomic units(OTUs)of dark-spored myxomycetes from 12 soil samples,classified into 2 orders,3 families,and 14 genera.Among these,the genus Didymium was dominant,accounting for 20.13%of relative abundance.Eighty-one OTUs were identified as 37 species,including 10 species not previously reported in China and 4 species new to Jilin Province.Additionally,the community structure of dark-spored myxomycetes varied significantly among different vegetation types.Co-occurrence network analysis indicated that dark-spored myxomycetes had closer interactions with fungi,particularly Basidiomycetes,than with bacteria or other eukaryotes.At the genus level,the presence of abundant dark-spored myxomycetes in soil was more influenced by bacterial and fungal communities,with bacteria mainly from the RB41 group and fungi primarily mycorrhizal species such as Russula.Soil environmental factors were not the main drivers affecting the occurrence of dark-spored myxomycetes.This study demonstrates that vegetation type and soil bacterial and fungal communities are key factors shaping myxomycete composition,thereby enhancing understanding of forest soil myxomycete diversity and its influencing factors.关键词
