Research on Architectural Design of the Study-Tour Base of Ordos Cultural Industry Park from the Perspective of Regional Culture

Abstract
Taking the supporting project of the study-tour base in the Ordos Cultural Industry Park as a case,this paper investigates the integration of regional cultural expression and architectural space.By examining the multiple contexts of the site environment—including Mongolian culture,Republican-era urban imagery,and Wabi-Sabi aesthetics—it analyzes the project in terms of overall layout,architectural form and façade materials,interior ambience,functional hybridity,and technical responses.Under harsh climatic conditions,the study further explores how spatial organization,regional color palettes,and sustainable design strategies can be employed to realize the compound function of"integrating learning and travel"in the study-tour base,while achieving a contemporary expression of regional culture.The findings indicate that rooting design in local cultural lineage and reinforcing spatial experience can shape study-oriented buildings that embody both a strong sense of place and clear cultural identity,providing a referential design path for culture-tourism integration and the construction of study-tour bases in Northwest China.关键词
