Analysis of Research Methods for Terminology of Vernacular Architecture
摘要
Abstract
The terms used in the construction and utilization of vernacular architecture by craftsmen and homeowners are the core cultural genes of vernacular architecture.These terms possess the characteristics of regionalism,systematicness and precision.They are also intangible cultural heritages that are more likely to disappear compared to architectural heritage.This thesis constructs a research theory system for vernacular construction terms.It first discusses the current research status of these terms,points out the existing problems,then elaborates on the significance of the research,and provides examples to illustrate the types of terms and analyze their sources.Finally,it proposes a suggestion for multiple parties to collaborate in completing the Dictionary of Vernacular Architectural Construction Terms in China.关键词
