The Influence Mechanism and Nonlinear Effect of New Quality Productive Forces on Green and Low Carbon Transformation of Energy

Abstract
Promoting the green and low-carbon transformation of energy is a key measure to achieve the goal of"double carbon"and high-quality economic development,and the formation and development of new quality productive forces has injected new driving force into the green and low-carbon transforma-tion of energy.To systematically analyze the mechanism of the role of new quality productivity in the green and low-carbon transformation of energy,provincial panel data from China from 2013 to 2023 were selected to construct a comprehensive evaluation index system for new quality productivity.The entropy weight TOPSIS method was used for calculation,and the impact of new quality productivity on the green and low-carbon transformation of energy was empirically tested through a two-way fixed effects model.At the same time,the mediating role of technological innovation and the threshold effect of government support were introduced to explore its transmission path and nonlinear characteristics.The research results show that new quality productivity can significantly promote the green and low-car-bon transformation of energy,and technological innovation plays a key mediating role in it;Government support has a significant threshold effect in the relationship between the two.Moderate support can help strengthen the driving role of new quality productivity in the green and low-carbon transformation of en-ergy,while excessive intervention may inhibit innovation vitality and weaken transformation efficiency.In addition,there is significant heterogeneity in the impact of new quality productivity on the green and low-carbon transformation of energy,with the promotion effect being more pronounced in regions with slower economic growth and the eastern region.The research conclusion provides theoretical basis and empirical support for improving the policy of cultivating new quality productivity and optimizing the path of energy green and low-carbon transformation.关键词
