Abstract

To explore the optimum conditions of Ligno Boost method and acid precipitation method for extracting lignin from bamboo chemical pulp black liquor,as well as the differences of extracted lignin,through variable control,the effects of different reaction temperatures,pH values of carbon dioxide acidification,pH values of sulfuric acid acidification,stirring time,holding time,and pH value of re-acidification on the yield of lignin extracted from bamboo chemical pulp black liquor were obtained.The structure and morphology of two kinds of lignin were characterized by scanning electron microscopy,laser particle size analyzer and Fourier transform infrared spectrometer,etc.The results showed that under a reaction temperature of 30℃,carbon dioxide was injected to reduce the pH value of black liquor to 10.5,and then sulfuric acid was used to acidify it to a pH value of 3.0.After fully stirred for 0.5 h and held for 1.0 h,the obtained precipitate was dispersed in sulfuric acid with a pH value of 3.0 for 5 min.It could enable the lignin extraction rate of Ligno Boost method reach the maximum value of 48.06%,which was 49.16%higher than the yield of acid precipitation method under the same conditions.Ligno Boost method retained more natural microporous structures and larger specific surface area(0.674 m2/g)than acid precipitation lignin.The overall molecular weight(MW 989)was low,the distribution was narrow(PDI 1.42),the surface functional groups were abundant,the solubility and dispersibility were good and it also had better stability(Zeta potential-26.1 mV).The two-dimensional nuclear magnetic resonance results indicated that Ligno Boost lignin method contained more syringyl and p-hydroxybenzyl structural units.
