Disciplinary deconstruction and subject reconstruction:gender power narrative in A Song of Ice and Fire
摘要
Abstract
This study examines the the gender power narrative in A Song of Ice and Fire, based on Michel Foucault's discourse theory of power and Simone de Beauvoir's existential feminism, analyzing the gender power narrative in A Song of Ice and Fire. This paper constructs a three-dimensional analytical framework of"disciplinary mechanism, resistant practice, value reconstruction".It explores the disciplinary closed loop formed by the patriarchal society of Westeros in A Song of Ice and Fire, which is achieved through three core approaches:the instrumentalized binding of identity, the gendered alienation of labor, and the monopolistic deprivation of discourse.Meanwhile, this study interprets the intricate paths of subjectivity construction among female characters such as Daenerys,Sansa, and Brienne, who attains this goal through"strategic resistance".The research finds that Martin deconstructs the male hegemony inherent in traditional epics via micro-power narratives, revealing that the construction of female subjectivity is not merely an act of individual resistance, but a systematic reconstruction of the power discourse system. This conclusion offers a new paradigm for gender studies in fantasy literature.关键词
