Abstract
This paper examines the pesticide classification management system in the United States,where pesticides are classified as either general use or restricted use.The classification of restricted-use pesticides(RUPs)in the U.S.is primarily based on risk and hazard assessments,with corresponding classification principles established.Enhanced regulatory measures are applied to RUPs in terms of registration and labeling,alongside a certification system for pesticide applicators.The U.S management system for RUPs reflects the principles of risk management,emphasizing on regulating both pesticide use and applicators.关键词
