Abstract

This article analyzes pesticide registration test filing data in China in 2025 from multiple perspective,including the total number of filings and monthly variation,the structural composition of technical materials and formulations,the distribution of single-active-ingredient and mixed formulations as well as formulation types,the concentration of crop registrations,amendment filings and joint filings for specialty minor crops,the popularity of active ingredients filing,and regional differences among provinces.Based on these aspects,the study explores the overall status and evolving characteristics of pesticide registration test filings in 2025.The results indicate that the total number of filings increased significantly compared with the previous year,with formulations accounting for an overwhelming majority,and the proportion of water-based formulation types such as suspension concentrates continuing to rise.Registered crops are primarily concentrated in major grain and economic crops,while joint filings for specialty minor crops exhibit shifting hotspots.Regionally,the leading provinces maintain a stable dominance,whereas central-western and southern regions demonstrate rapid growth.This article aims to reveal the annual dynamics and trends of pesticide registration test filings and provide data support for industry research,development,and registration strategies.
