华中地区CLDAS土壤湿度产品评估及校验技术研究
Evaluation and validation techniques of CLDAS soil moisture products in central China

Abstract
This study evaluates the accuracy and applicability of CLDAS-simulated volumetric water content in Central China for 2019,assessing temporal,regional,and depth consistency.Based on these evaluations,a consistency verification technique was developed by comparing observations with model outputs.Results indicate that CLDAS effectively captures the temporal variation of volumetric water content,maintaining relatively stable consistency across months.The smallest mean error occurs in June,while larger errors are noted in August.Root mean square error and standard deviation of deviation remain consistent across months,with the highest correlation observed in September and lower correlation in July.Regionally,CLDAS show a gradual increase in volumetric water content from north to south,generally aligning with observations.However,underestimations are evident in central and northern Henan Province,while simulations perform well in eastern Hubei Province and western and southern Hunan Province.Depth-wise,the CLDAS tends to overestimate water content in the 10-40 cm layer and underestimate it in the 50-100 cm layer.As depth increases,systematic bias uncertainty rises,and correlation gradually decreases.The consistency verification technique effectively identifies abrupt changes in observational data caused by equipment failures,sensor calibration drift,irrigation,and other factors.关键词
