摘要

Abstract

Yeast β-glucan(YβG),a polysaccharide derived from yeast cell walls,serves as a natural biological response modifier with diverse biological activities,including immunomodulatory and antitumor effects,making it a prominent focus in medical research.By interacting with pattern recognition receptors on immune cell surfaces,YβG activates signaling path-ways,induces the secretion of pro-inflammatory cytokines,and promotes immune cell activation,emerging as a novel strategy for tumor immunotherapy.This review integrates the latest data from in vitro cell cultures,mouse models and clinical studies to comprehensively evaluate the therapeutic potential of YβG,beginning with its structure-function relationship.We highlight the application prospects of YβG in antitumor activity,explore the underlying mechanisms of action,and discuss its future potential in cancer immunotherapy.Emphasis is placed on its ability to enhance innate and adaptive immune responses,mod-ulate the tumor microenvironment,and synergize with conventional therapies,providing a theoretical foundation for advancing YβG-based biomedical applications.
