Research Progress on Comprehensive Stepwise Graded Management of Low Anterior Resection Syndrome Following Rectal Cancer Surgery

Abstract
After low anterior resection for rectal cancer,patients often develop low anterior resection syndrome(LARS),characterized by symptoms such as increased stool frequency,urgency,incontinence,and incomplete evacuation,which sig-nificantly impairs their quality of life.Based on existing studies,this article reviews the assessment tools for LARS and the stepped-care management strategy,and focuses on analyzing the application status of various assessment methods and the re-search progress of relevant intervention measures within this management paradigm.It aims to summarize the current research progress of LARS,provide a theoretical reference for its clinical standardized assessment and individualized treatment,and offer insights for future research.关键词
