Abstract
Within the theoretical framework of traditional Chinese medicine(TCM),the ascending,descending,exiting,and entering movements of qi constitute a core mechanism for interpreting functional activity of the zang-fu organs.Shenque(CV8)belongs to the conception vessel,Tianshu(ST25)pertains to the foot yangming stomach meridian,and Mingmen(GV4)is located on the governor vessel.Although these acupoints are located in different meridians,their body surface projections are situated on the same horizontal plane of the waist-abdominal region showing anterior-posterior correspondence and left-right symmetry.This spatial arrangement suggests a notable degree of coordination in both structural location and functional significance.Based on a systematic review of relevant classical medical literature,this paper examines the role of the Shenque-Tianshu-Mingmen acupoint group in the movement and transformation of qi from the perspective of its spatial structure and in light of the TCM holistic view.It is proposed that this horizontally aligned acupoint interface serves as a pivotal regulatory hub in coordinating the ascending,descending,exiting,and entering movements of qi across the triple energizers,as well as in the processes of qi transformation and re-storage.Collectively,these acupoints form an important functional interface for the regulation of qi movement in the waist-abdominal region.关键词
