针刺联合质子泵抑制剂治疗胃食管反流病的疗效观察及对血清胃动素、生长激素释放肽水平的影响
Clinical observation on the efficacy of acupuncture combined with proton pump inhibitors in the treatment of gastroesophageal reflux disease and its effects on serum motilin and growth hormone-releasing peptide levels

Abstract
Objective To observe the clinical efficacy of acupuncture combined with proton pump inhibitors(PPIs)in the treatment of gastroesophageal reflux disease(GERD)and its effects on serum motilin(MTL)and growth hormone-releasing peptide levels.Method A total of 123 patients with GERD were randomly divided into a control group(61 cases,1 dropout)and an experimental group(62 cases,2 dropouts).The control group received oral omeprazole enteric-coated capsules,while the experimental group received acupuncture therapy in addition to the same treatment as the control group.Changes before and after treatment in traditional Chinese medicine(TCM)syndrome scores,gastrointestinal hormone levels[MTL,substance P(SP),vasoactive intestinal peptide(VIP),and growth hormone-releasing peptide],esophageal motility parameters[upper esophageal sphincter pressure(UESP)and lower esophageal sphincter pressure(LESP)],and quality of life scores[Gastroesophageal Reflux Disease-Health-Related Quality of Life(GERD-HRQL)]were compared between the two groups.Overall clinical efficacy was also evaluated.Result The total effective rate in the experimental group was 96.7%,which was significantly higher than that in the control group(83.3%)(P＜0.05).After treatment,TCM syndrome scores decreased in both groups(P＜0.05),with lower scores in the experimental group than in the control group(P＜0.05).Serum levels of MTL,growth hormone-releasing peptide,and SP increased in both groups after treatment(P＜0.05),and were higher in the experimental group than in the control group(P＜0.05).Serum VIP levels decreased in both groups after treatment(P＜0.05),with a greater reduction in the experimental group(P＜0.05).After treatment,both UESP and LESP increased in both groups,and the increases were more pronounced in the experimental group(P＜0.05).GERD-HRQL scores decreased in both groups after treatment,with lower scores in the experimental group than in the control group(P＜0.05).Conclusion Acupuncture combined with proton pump inhibitors shows significant efficacy in the treatment of GERD.This combined therapy can regulate gastrointestinal hormone levels and esophageal motility,alleviate clinical symptoms,and improve patients'quality of life.关键词
