揿针联合中药穴位贴敷治疗肝郁脾虚型小儿肠系膜淋巴结炎的疗效观察
Therapeutic efficacy observation of thumbtack needles plus acupoint application with Chinese medicine for mesenteric lymphadenitis of liver depression and spleen deficiency pattern in children

Abstract
Objective To observe the clinical efficacy of thumbtack needles combined with acupoint application with modified Si Ni San in treating children's mesenteric lymphadenitis due to liver depression and spleen deficiency.Method Seventy patients with mesenteric lymphadenitis were assigned to a conventional group and a combined group using the random number table method,with 35 cases in each group.Both groups received basic intervention.In addition,the conventional group was administered thumbtack needle treatment,and the combined group received acupoint application with modified Si Ni San plus thumbtack needle treatment.Before and after treatment,the symptom scores of traditional Chinese medicine(TCM),the status of mesenteric lymph nodes,symptom relief time,and the levels of blood inflammatory factors[white blood cell(WBC)count,interleukin-6(IL-6),procalcitonin(PCT),and C-reactive protein(CRP)]were compared.The two groups were also compared in terms of clinical efficacy and adverse reactions.Result After treatment,both groups demonstrated decreases in the transverse and longitudinal diameters of mesenteric lymph nodes,TCM symptom scores,and inflammatory factor levels(P＜0.05),and the combined group showed lower values than the conventional group(P＜0.05).Compared to the conventional group,the combined group took less time to restore normal body temperature,relieve abdominal pain,and resume normal bowel movements(P＜0.05).The combined group achieved a total effective rate of 94.3%,higher than 74.3%in the conventional group(P＜0.05).The adverse reaction rate was 11.4%in the combined group,versus 5.7%in the conventional group;the between-group difference was statistically significant(P＜0.05).Conclusion Based on basic intervention,thumbtack needle therapy combined with acupoint application with modified Si Ni San produces significant efficacy in treating children's mesenteric lymphadenitis due to liver depression and spleen deficiency,effectively improving TCM symptom scores and related symptoms.关键词
