Abstract
Mechanical property testing of metallic materials is crucial for evaluating their performance and applications.Conventional samples are limited by sample size and sampling difficulty,making them unsuitable for testing materials with complex structures,non-homogeneity,limited quantity,and special properties.This paper studies the methods for testing the tensile properties of metallic materials with small-scale specimens.The experimental equipment,sample preparation,gauge length selection,and data calculation during the testing process are discussed in detail.The method investigates the influence of different diameters of small-scale samples on the tensile properties of metallic materials under different tensile rates.It has advantages such as cost reduction,efficiency improvement,and material saving,and is of great significance for the development of new materials and the evaluation of in-service performance.关键词
