芹槐提取物防治酒精性及非酒精性脂肪肝的药效作用研究
Therapeutic Effects of Qinhuai Extract on Alcoholic and Non-alcoholic Fatty Liver Disease

Abstract
Objective:To investigate the effects of Qinhuai(QH,Apium graveolens seed and Sophora japonica bud)extract on alco-holic liver disease(ALD)and metabolic dysfunction-associated steatotic liver disease(MASLD).Methods:Hematoxylin and eosin(HE)staining and Oil Red O staining were used to evaluate the effects of QH on hepatic steatosis and pathological changes in the Gao-Binge ALD mouse model and high-fat diet(HFD)-induced MASLD mouse model.Serum levels of alanine aminotransferase(ALT),aspartate aminotransferase(AST),and triglycerides(TG)were measured to assess the ameliorative effects of QH on liver steatosis and liver injury.Results:In the ALD model,QH significantly alleviated alcohol-induced pathological changes,including mixed-type steatosis predominantly characterized by macrovesicular fat droplets,focal hepatocyte ballooning,nuclear pyknosis,and disrupted hepatic cords.It significantly reduced serum AST levels and moderately improved ALT and TG levels.In the MASLD model,QH markedly reduced HFD-induced mixed-type steatosis and effectively mitigated widespread hepatocyte ballooning,nuclear pyknosis,and disrupted hepatic cord structures in a dose-dependent manner.Biochemically,QH significantly lowered serum ALT and AST levels and reduced steatosis-related indicators,including TG and total cholesterol(T-CHO).Conclusion:QH extract dem-onstrates significant therapeutic effects in mouse models of ALD and MASLD by effectively reducing hepatic steatosis and allevia-ting liver injury.These results are consistent with previous clinical studies and suggest that,in addition to its established roles in treating gout and hyperuricemia,QH extract may also have potential for the prevention and management of fatty liver disease.关键词
