协效阻燃聚丙烯复合材料的制备及性能研究
Preparation and Performance Study of Synergistic Flame Retardant Polypropylene Composites

Abstract
The inorganic flame retardant magnesium hydroxide(MH)was surface-modified using anionic surfactant sodium oleate and silane coupling agent(KH550).The modified magnesium hydroxide(MMH)was then compounded with cellulose acetate(CA)and blended with polypropylene(PP)to prepare flame retardant PP composites,and the flame retardancy and mechanical properties of the composites were investigated.The results showed that the simultaneous incorporation of MMH and CA into the PP matrix endowed the composites with favorable flame retardancy,thermal stability,and mechanical properties.When the mass fraction of MMH/CA was 40%(with a mass ratio of MMH to CA of 7∶1),the limiting oxygen index of the composite reached 28.9%,the UL-94 rating achieved V-0 level,and the tensile strength and impact strength reached 24.9 MPa and 11.7 kJ/m2,respectively.The mechanical properties were superior to those of flame retardant PP composites containing CA or MMH alone,indicating that MMH and CA exhibited good synergistic flame retardant effects.关键词
