Application effect of mobile health technology in outpatient colonoscopy examination population:a Meta-analysis

Abstract
Objective:To systematically evaluate the effectiveness of mobile health technology in the outpatient colonoscopy examination population.Methods:Randomized controlled trials on the application of mobile health technology in the outpatient colonoscopy examination population were retrieved from databases such as CNKI,VIP,CBM,WanFang Database,Web of Science,PubMed,Cochrane Library,EMbase,and ScienceDirect.The search period was from the establishment of the databases to December 30,2025.Two researchers independently screened the literature,extracted the data,and evaluated the quality of the included studies by using the Cochrane 5.1.0 manual.Meta-analysis was conducted by using RevMan 5.3 software.Results:A total of 9 studies were included,involving 2 954 outpatient colonoscopy examination people.Meta-analysis results showed that interventions based on mobile health technology could improve the quality of bowel preparation for outpatient colonoscopy examination population(SMD=0.78,95%CI 0.70-0.85,P<0.000 1),the success rate of cecal intubation(OR=2.66,95%CI 1.31-5.44,P=0.007),polyp detection rate(OR=1.44,95%CI 1.20-1.72,P<0.000 1),adenoma detection rate(OR=1.71,95%CI 1.24-2.35,P=0.001),adherence to laxatives(OR=1.87,95%CI 1.24-2.84,P=0.003)and dietary adherence(OR=2.41,95%CI 1.57-3.72,P<0.000 1).Conclusions:The intervention based on mobile health technology could improve the quality of bowel preparation,the success rate of cecal intubation,the detection rate of adenomas and polyps,as well as the compliance with laxative administration and diet.关键词
