Research Progress on Chemical Composition and Pharmacological Effects of Platycodon Grandiflorum
摘要
Abstract
The dried root of Platycodon grandiflorum(Jacq.)A.DC.(a plant of the Campanulaceae family)is used as platycodon root.Studies have found that its main chemical components include saponins,flavonoids,phenolic acids,polysaccharides,polyacetylenes,lignans,fatty acids and other ingredients.Its pharmacological effects include anti-tumor,expectorant and antitussive,antibacterial and anti-inflammatory,antioxidant,anti-obesity,liver protection,immunomodulation,etc.This paper reviews the chemical components and pharmacological effects of platycodon root,providing a reference for the future research,development and application of platycodon root.关键词
