Traditional Chinese Medicine's Understanding and Application of the Physiological Changes in the Body Caused by the Influence of the Intestinal Microbiota on Intestinal Temperature
摘要
Abstract
The intestinal microbiota regulates intestinal temperature through metabolic activities(e.g.,producing short-chain fatty acids)and interaction with the host,while abnormal intestinal temperature conversely leads to microbiota imbalance.Stable intestinal temperature is crucial for digestive enzyme activity and intestinal peristalsis,and its abnormality can cause health issues via the traditional Chinese medicine(TCM)"intestine-zangfu-meridian"connection.From the TCM holistic view,physiological changes related to their interaction are mostly associated with"insufficient yang qi"and"internal generation of yin cold";regulating microbiota combined with TCM conditioning like warming yang qi provides new directions for treating intestinal diseases,depression,etc.关键词
