Measurement and Comparison of the Development Level of New Quality Productivity of the Three Major Urban Agglomerations in China

Abstract
Based on the panel data of 49 cities in the Yangtze River Delta urban agglomeration,the Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei urban agglomeration and the Pearl River Delta urban agglomeration from 2011 to 2024,this paper uses the entropy method,kernel density estimation method,Moran's index and Dagum Gini coefficient method to measure and analyze the development level of new quality productivity of the three major urban agglomerations in China as well as its spatiotemporal evolution and regional dif-ference characteristics.The results go as below:First,the development levels of new quality productivity of the three major urban agglomerations show a continuous upward trend.Second,the development level of new quality productivity of the three major ur-ban agglomerations has significant spatial correlation,and presents the characteristics of"high-high"agglomeration or"low-low"agglomeration.Third,the Gini coefficient of the development level of new quality productivity in the Yangtze River Delta urban ag-glomeration is lower than that in the Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei urban agglomeration and the Pearl River Delta urban agglomeration.Fourth,inter-group differences are the main source of differences in the development level of new quality productivity of the three major urban agglomerations,followed by intra-group differences and hypervariable density.关键词
