Impact of Digital Infrastructure Construction on Farmers' Common Prosperity:From the Perspective of Agricultural New Quality Productivity Cultivation

Abstract
Based on the provincial panel data in China from 2011 to 2024,this paper examines the impact of digital infra-structure construction on farmers' common prosperity and the mechanism of agricultural new quality productivity.The results show that digital infrastructure construction exerts a significant inverted U-shaped effect on farmers' common prosperity,charac-terized by an initial promotion followed by inhibition.The regional heterogeneity analysis results indicate that the eastern region exhibits a U-shaped effect,and the central region an inverted U-shaped effect with an earlier turning point,while the western re-gion is still dominated by a positive promoting effect.Due to the differences in their development stages,the northern and southern regions display distinct nonlinear effect,with a U-shaped effect in the north and an inverted U-shaped effect in the south.The structural heterogeneity analysis results reveal that the effect of digital infrastructure construction follows an inverted U-shaped pattern in regions with low levels of new farmers and new technologies,but is not significant in high-level regions.In regions with high and low levels of new business forms,an inverted U-shape and a U-shape are respectively presented.The moderating effect test results show that agricultural new quality productivity and its sub-dimensions regulate the inverted U-shaped relationship,shifting the turning point to the left.This indicates that regions with better factor endowments experience a faster release and atten-uation of digital dividends.关键词
