The Impact and Action Mechanism of Artificial Intelligence on Urban New Quality Productivity

Abstract
As a new type of general-purpose technology,artificial intelligence has become an important driving force for the development of urban new quality productivity.The panel data of 277 prefecture-level and above cities in China from 2011 to 2024 are selected as the research sample by this paper to explore the relationship between artificial intelligence and urban new quality productivity.The results show that artificial intelligence can promote the development of urban new quality productivity.Heterogeneity tests show that in non-old industrial base cities and large cities,artificial intelligence has a stronger promoting ef-fect on the development of urban new quality productivity.Mediation effect tests indicate that the innovation environment plays a mediating role between artificial intelligence and urban new quality productivity.Moderating effect tests indicate that pilot policies for innovative industrial clusters can effectively enhance the promoting effect of artificial intelligence on the development of urban new quality productivity.关键词
