Abstract
Objective To investigate the clinical effect of hyperbaric oxygen combined with transcranial magnetic stimulation in the treatment of cognitive impairment after cranial injury in children. Methods A total of 68 children with cranial injury and cognitive impairment admitted to Pediatric Rehabilitation Department,Jiangbin Hospital of Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region from January 2021 to December 2024 were retrospectively selected, and they were divided into two groups according to different treatment plans, with 34 cases in each group. The control group received hyperbaric oxygen therapy alone, and the observation group was treated with transcranial magnetic stimulation on the basis of the control group. The clinical efficacy,Wechsler intelligence scale for children-fourth edition(WISC-Ⅳ)score,mini-mental state examination(MMSE)score and the incidence of adverse reactions were compared between the two groups. Results The total effective rate of the observation group was higher than that of the control group(P<0.05).There were no significant differences in the WISC-Ⅳ and MMSE scores before treatment between the two groups(P>0.05).After treatment, the WISC-Ⅳ and MMSE scores of both groups increased, and those of the observation group were higher than those of the control group(P<0.05).There was no statistically significant difference in the total incidence of adverse reactions between the two groups(P>0.05).Conclusion The clinical effect of hyperbaric oxygen combined with transcranial magnetic stimulation in the treatment of cognitive impairment after cranial injury in children is relatively good, which can effectively improve the cognitive function of children and is worthy of promotion and application.关键词
