苏州元和塘古窑遗址南区出土陶器的科学分析研究
Scientific analysis of potteries unearthed from the southern area of the Yuanhetang ancient kiln site in Suzhou

Abstract
A large number of potteries dating from the Southern Song to the Ming and Qing Dynasties were unearthed from the Yuanhetang ancient kiln site group in Suzhou.This study selected potteries and soil samples for scientific analysis.Density measurement,petrographic observation,X-ray fluorescence spectrometry,X-ray diffraction,thermomechanical analysis,and Raman spectrometry were used to examine their basic properties,body compositions,phase compositions and firing temperatures.The results show that these potteries were made from common fusible clay with relatively high iron content and exhibit good physical properties.The pottery bodies are fine and uniform,and are classified as clay potteries.The firing temperature ranges between 950℃ and 1 050℃,indicating that they belong to the high-temperature category.The firing atmosphere was predominantly reducing,with well-developed carburization techniques.This study reveals the unique techniques and high-quality characteristics of pottery production in this region from a technological perspective,and demonstrates the continuous refinement and development of pottery craftsmanship in the Suzhou area.It provides additional information and supporting data for the discovery,identification,and study of the ancient Pingjiang kiln.关键词
