Abstract

To address the"fragmentation"dilemma in agricultural technology extension and to facili-tate the deep integration of good fields,seeds,machinery,and practices(the"Four Goods"),this study aims to develop an integrated systems theory and methodology.The goal is to provide a systematic so-lution and decision-making tool for achieving large-scale and balanced increases in grain yield.Based on systems engineering principles and targeting the nonlinear coupling relationships among the"Four Goods,"a systematic integration methodology termed the"Goal-Oriented Collaborative Design Cycle"was proposed.This methodology takes clear productivity enhancement and green development goals as its logical starting point.It prioritizes the strategic reshaping of the material foundation(good fields and machinery)through top-level design.Subsequently,it achieves bidirectional adaptation and dy-namic optimization of the biological and management elements(good seeds and practices)within the optimized system boundaries.Finally,it enables continuous system performance improvement through a data-driven iterative feedback mechanism.The framework was logically deconstructed and mapped against typical cases,including the high-yield demonstration of'Zhengmai 1860'in Shaanxi,the intel-ligent"1.5-ton grain"production in Qihe,Shandong,and the response to autumn waterlogging in the Huang-Huai region.The"Goal-Oriented Collaborative Design Cycle"comprises three sequential and iterative stages:goal definition and top-level collaborative design(strategic empowerment),bidirec-tional adaptation and tuning of"soft combinations"within optimized boundaries,and integrated verifi-cation with data-driven iterative evolution.Case studies validated the scientific soundness and effective-ness of this methodology in interpreting and guiding productive,efficient,green,and resilient agricul-tural practices.Its core lies in proactively redesigning system constraints to achieve global optimiza-tion.The proposed"Goal-Oriented Collaborative Design Cycle"provides a methodological shift from"empirical assembly"to"systematic design"for the deep integration of the"Four Goods."It serves as a systematic theoretical tool and practical guide for developing new quality agricultural productive forces and supporting the new round of action to increase grain production capacity by tens of billions of kilograms.
