摘要

Abstract

The SRZ family comprises proteins containing zinc finger domains that play important roles in plant responses to abiotic stresses.In this study,based on the protein sequences of OsSRZ1 to OsS-RZ4,10 new members of the SRZ family were identified in rice and added to the SRZ family.Bioinfor-matics analyses were performed to analyze the conserved motifs,physicochemical properties,phyloge-netic clustering,gene structure,and cis-acting elements of this family.The results showed that mem-bers of the SRZ family contained 1 to 4 conserved zinc finger motifs,with protein lengths ranging from 145 to 950 amino acids,molecular mass ranging from 15 471.5 and 103 570.0,and isoelectric points ranging from 6.43 to 11.66.The SRZ family members were divided into 3 subfamilies,with low amino acid similarity in non-zinc finger regions.The promoters of SRZ genes contained a large number of el-ements responsive to drought,low temperature,defense and stress,as well as plant hormones.Spatio-temporal expression analysis revealed that,except for OsSRZ7,most SRZ genes showed low expres-sion in rice roots and relatively higher expression in other tissues.Microarray data indicated that the expression of SRZ genes showed marked changes under ABA,JA,and IAA treatments.To further ex-plore the biological functions of these 14 rice SRZ family members,transcriptome sequencing data were used to analyze the expression patterns of SRZ genes under waterlogging and salt treatments.These results suggest that genes such as OsSRZ2 may be involved in salt salt signaling responses,and genes including OsSRZ2,OsSRZ5,OsSRZ12,and OsSRZ13 may participate in waterlogging respon-ses.This study lays a foundation for elucidating the biological functions of the rice SRZ family and provides a reference for mining stress-tolerant genes in rice.
