富勒烯晶格限域PtFeCoNiRu高熵合金催化剂的制备及其电解水析氢性能
Preparation of fullerene-confined PtFeCoNiRu high-entropy alloy catalyst and its performance for electrocatalytic hydrogen evolution reaction

Abstract
Electrochemical water splitting is one of the primary methods for producing"green hydrogen,"but the slow kinetics of the cathodic hydrogen evolution reaction(HER)heavily rely on efficient catalysts.Although platinum(Pt)-based noble metal catalysts exhibit excel-lent performance,their high cost and scarcity limit large-scale application.Therefore,develo-ping HER catalysts with low noble metal loading and high activity is of great significance.In this study,a ruthenium(Ru)-based high-entropy alloy catalyst confined within a fullerene lattice,PtFeCoNi/Ru@CFN,was successfully prepared via multi-metal co-reduction and high-temperature sintering.In 1 M KOH alkaline electrolyte,the catalyst requires an overpo-tential of only 31 mV to achieve a current density of 10 mA cm-2.At an overpotential of 0.1 V,its mass activity is 16.9 times higher than that of commercial Pt/C,and it demonstrates excellent stability,maintaining continuous operation for over 40 hours.Structural character-ization and electrochemical tests indicate that the introduction of Ru further optimizes the e-lectronic structure,and the synergistic effect of the multi-metal alloy significantly enhances the intrinsic activity.This study provides a new strategy for designing low-cost,high-per-formance HER catalysts with strong potential for practical applications.关键词
