摘要

Abstract

In this work,nano-silica was introduced into the modified polyacrylamide self-sus-pending proppant by UV-initiated polymerization,which enhanced its temperature and salt resistances.The microstructure and chemical structure of the materials were characterized by fourier transform infrared spectroscopy,scanning electron microscopy,super-depth-of-field microscopy and energy dispersive spectroscopy.The effect of nano-silica additions on the temperature and salt resistances of the self-suspending proppant was investigated.Among these,the 2%nano-silica modified self-suspending proppant exhibited good temperature and salt resistances,with swelling ratios of 2.2 at 100 ℃,and 2.45,1.71,and 2.29 in 800 ppm sodium chloride,calcium chloride,and magnesium sulfate solutions,respectively.Additional-ly,the 2%nano-silica modified self-suspending proppant exhibited lower apparent density,breakage rate,and acid solubility than the unmodified self-suspending proppant.In this work,an environmentally friendly UV-initiation technology was used to prepare temperature and salt resistant self-suspending proppant,providing technical support for unconventional hydro-carbon resource development.
