消髓化核汤联合专项护理治疗寒湿型腰椎间盘突出症疗效观察
Observation on Curative Effect of Xiaosui Huahe Decoction Combined with Specialized Nursing Care for Lumbar Disc Herniation of Cold-Damp Type

Abstract
Objective:To observe the clinical effects of Xiaosui Huahe Decoction combined with specialized nursing care of Chinese medicine on patients with lumbar disc herniation of cold-damp type.Methods:A total of 200 patients diagnosed as lumbar disc herniation of cold-damp type in the Department of Orthopedics and Department of Rehabilitation of Luoyang Orthopedic-Traumatological Hospital of Henan Province were selected and assigned to the control group and the combination group according to the random number table method,with 100 cases in each group.The control group received treatment such as routine bed rest,non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs(NSAIDs)and related Chinese patent medicines.On the basis of the control group,the combination group was given oral administration of Xiaosui Huahe Decoction and specialized nursing care of Chinese medicine for patients of cold-damp type.The course of treatment was four weeks.The lumbar range of motion,clinical comprehensive efficacy and nursing quality,and the Visual Analogue Scale(VAS)score,dysfunction index[Oswestry Dysfunction Index(ODI)],function score[Japanese Orthopaedic Association(JOA)],and inflammatory factors[interleukin(IL)-6 and tumor necrosis factor-α(TNF-α)]before and after treatment and at one month of follow-up were compared between the two groups.Results:After treatment,the total effective rate was 93.00%(93/100)in the combination group and 78.00%(78/100)in the control group,the difference being significant(P＜0.05).After treatment,the VAS and ODI scores in the two groups were decreased when compared with those before treatment(P＜0.05),and the VAS and ODI scores in the combination group were lower than those in the control group(P＜0.05);the JOA scores in the two groups were increased when compared with those before treatment(P＜0.05),and the JOA score in the combination group was higher than that in the control group(P＜0.05).After treatment,the levels of IL-6 and TNF-α in the two groups were decreased when compared with those before treatment(P＜0.05),and the levels of IL-6 and TNF-α in the combination group were lower than those in the control group(P＜0.05).After treatment,the lumbar flexion and extension angles in the two groups were improved when compared with those before treatment(P＜0.05),and the improvement in the combination group was greater than that in the control group(P＜0.05).After treatment,the pain relief rate,functional recovery rate,NSAIDs use reduction rate,and nursing satisfaction in the combination group were higher than those in the control group,the difference being significant(P＜0.05).After one month of follow-up,the VAS,ODI,JOA scores,and the improvement of IL-6 and TNF-α levels in the combination group were superior to those in the control group,differences being significant(P＜0.05).Conclusion:The combination use of Xiaosui Huahe Decoction and specialized nursing care of Chinese medicine can enhance the curative effect on patients with lumbar disc herniation of cold-damp type,which can improve the nursing satisfaction,effectively reduce the lumbar pain,improve the functional impairment,reduce the inflammatory responses.关键词
