摘要
Abstract
To support high-throughput application scenarios in 6G,this paper proposes a rate-compatible quasi-cyclic low-density parity-check(QC-LDPC)code design method based on 5G low-density parity-check(LDPC)codes.Existing 5G LDPC codes support a maximum data rate of approximately 20 Gbps in the downlink,which has become insufficient for future higher-throughput requirements.Accordingly,a new class of QC-LDPC codes is constructed by extending the range of lifting factors supported by 5G LDPC codes.From the perspective of cycle-structure optimization,a systematic design method is proposed for large-size lifting factors based on the criteria of maximum girth and the minimum number of shortest cycles.Simulation results show that,compared with DVB-S2 short-frame LDPC codes,the designed rate-compatible LDPC codes achieve a performance gain of 0.2-0.3 dB.The proposed method is applicable not only to 6G high-throughput communication scenarios,but also to future integrated satellite-terrestrial communication systems.关键词
