Research Progress on the Regulation of Plant Hormones on the Growth and Development of Edible Mushrooms

Abstract
Plant hormones function as pivotal chemical messengers,regulating plant growth,development,and responses to environmental stimuli.Through the precise regulation of gene expression and cellular physiological processes,they orchestrate the completion of plant life cycles.Recent studies have revealed that plant hormones also play a significant regulatory role in the growth and development of edible mushrooms.This article systematically reviews the research progress on five classical plant hormones:auxin,cytokinin,abscisic acid,gibberellin,and ethylene,in edible mushrooms,focusing on their regulatory effects on key agronomic traits such as mycelial growth rate,stipe elongation,pileus size,growth cycle,and yield.It further explores the biosynthetic mechanisms of these hormones in edible mushrooms and the molecular mechanisms through which they regulate growth and development.This review aims to synthesize related research findings and provide a theoretical basis and feasible reference for understanding the regulation mechanism of plant hormones in edible mushrooms and promoting their efficient application in the edible mushrooms industry.关键词
