Symposium on the Return to Fieldwork and Paradigm Reconstruction of Political Science Research in the AI Era
摘要
Abstract
Artificial intelligence is profoundly transforming the knowledge production model in social science research.This symposium fo-cuses on the paradigm reconstruction of political science research in the AI era,aiming to go beyond the simplistic perspective of merely vie-wing AI as a technical tool and conduct in-depth methodological reflection.The discussion points out that while AI technology has enhanced research efficiency,its inherent data-centric and reductionist logic also highlights the limitations in understanding complex social realities.In response,the roundtable advocates that social science research should return to field experience,emphasizing the irreplaceable value of localized field investigations in identifying real issues and understanding the underlying social mechanisms.The future development of social sciences lies in achieving a balance between academic awareness and technological rationality,enabling a two-way empowerment of AI and field research,and thereby building solid knowledge that can effectively explain Chinese practices and respond to contemporary concerns.关键词
