Abstract
The experiment aimed to study the effects of fennel essential oil on growth performance,immune regulation and intestinal health of broilers.400 broilers with 613.09±2.52 g body weight were randomly divided into 1 control group and 4 fennel essential oil groups,4 replicates in each group,20 broilers in each replicate.The broilers in each group were fed with basal diet+0 mg/kg(control group),40 mg/kg(fennel essential oil 1 group),60 mg/kg(fennel essential oil 2 group),80 mg/kg(fennel essential oil 3 group),100 mg/kg(fennel essential oil 4 group)of fennel essential oil.Results:(1)Compared with control group,the ADG of fennel essential oil 3 and 4 groups was significantly increased by 9.62%and 9.92%(P<0.05),and the FCR was significantly reduced by 8.12%and 8.63%(P<0.05).There was no significant difference in growth performance among fennel essential oil 3 and 4 groups(P>0.05).(2)The TNF-α in the middle and late stages of the experiment of fennel essential oil 1,2,3 and 4 groups was significantly reduced(P<0.05),and the IgG in late stages experiment was significantly increased(P<0.05).The IgM in late stages experiment of fennel essential oil 4 group was significantly higher(P<0.05).(3)The jejunum villus height and villus-crypt ratio of fennel essential oil 3 and 4 groups were significantly increased(P<0.05).In conclusion,the addition of fennel essential oil in broilers basal diet can increase the ADG,reduce the FCR,improve immune function and intestinal morphology.Under the conditions of this experiment,the recommended addition level of fennel essential oil in broilers basal diet is 80 mg/kg.关键词
