石岐鸽生长性能、屠宰性能和器官发育规律研究
Study on growth performance,slaughter performance and organ development pattern of Shiqi pigeon

Abstract
In order to study the growth performance,slaughtering performance and organ development pattern of Shiqi pigeons,10 pigeons each of 0,1,2,3,4,8,13,22,104 weeks old were randomly selected(basically keeping half of males and half of females)to determine the body measurements,slaughtering and organ indices.The results showed that the growth of body measurements of Shihqi pigeons was mainly before 8 weeks of age,especially at 1～2 weeks of age.The depth of chest peaked at 22 weeks of age and then decreased,and body oblique length had some prolongation from 13 to 22 weeks of age,after which it stopped growing.Tibia length and tibia circumference had finished growing at 3 weeks of age.The rapid growth of pigeons was mainly at 0～3 weeks of age,with a slight increase in body weight at 4～8 weeks of age,and the body weight was maintained at a certain range after 8 weeks of age.Slaughter rate and semi-evisceration rate increased rapidly from 3～4 weeks of age and leveled off after 4 weeks of age.Pectoral muscle index had been increasing rapidly from 1～13 weeks of age and was basically flat after 13 weeks of age.The leg muscle index curve was generally straight,with the exception of a dip at 13 weeks of age.The abdominal fat index increased rapidly from 1～4 weeks of age,peaked at 4 weeks of age,and then declined.The liver index was in decline from 1 week of age(5.2%)until 104 weeks of age(1.6%).The cardiac index remained at a relatively constant level of about 1%.Adenogastric index,myogastric index and small intestinal index declined more rapidly from 1～8 weeks of age,especially from 1～2 weeks of age,and leveled off after 8 weeks of age.The spleen index was always on a decreasing trend.The bursa index rose from 1～8 weeks of age showed a peak at 8 weeks of age and then declined.Thymus index declined sharply from 1～3 weeks of age,increased from 3～4 weeks of age,declined from 4～8 weeks of age,and then showed a small peak at 13 weeks of age and then declined.The results of the study suggested that the rapidity of growth of squab was compatible with the high and low nutrient content of pigeon milk,the time axis of body size index,growth and development indexes basically overlap,the development of bones and muscles was greatly affected by feeding methods,the increase in body weight was mainly due to the growth of pectoral muscles,and the development of tibia was completed before the increase in body weight.The digestive organs of pigeons were basically fully developed at 8 weeks of age,and the development of the intestinal tract was affected by the composition of the feed,nutrient content and amount of food intake.The Shiqi pigeon could be slaughtered and marketed at 3 weeks of age.关键词
