Abstract
Objective:To evaluate the validity and reliability of the Chinese version of the Mood Disorders Questionnaire for Adolescents(C-MDQ-A)and to explore the optimal cutoff point for distinguishing adolescent bi-polar disorder from depressive disorder. Methods:The MDQ-A was adapted into the C-MDQ-A,comprising self-re-port and parent-report versions. From September 2023 to February 2024,130 patients and their families from the pe-diatric department of Peking University Sixth Hospital participated in the study, including 60 groups with bipolar disorder and 70 groups with depressive disorder. After approximately 3 months,30 groups from the bipolar disorder group were selected for retest.Exploratory factor analysis was performed on the scale. The test-retest reliability was evaluated using interclass correlation coefficient, and the internal consistency was evaluated using Cronbach αcoef-ficient.The screening performance was evaluated using the receiver operating characteristic(ROC)curve, and the optimal cutoff point was explored using the Youden index. Results:The results showed that both versions of the C-MDQ-A had a 5-factor structure, with cumulative variance explained rates of 64.1%and 64.8%,respectively.The test-retest reliabilities were 0.90 and 0.96,and the internal consistency values were 0.70 and 0.71,respective-ly.The areas under the ROC curve were 0.90 and 0.86,and the optimal cutoff points were 5 points for the self-re-port version(sensitivity 0.70,specificity 0.90)and 4 points for the parent-report version(sensitivity 0.80,specific-ity 0.79).Conclusion:Both self-report and parent-report versions of the C-MDQ-A demonstrates good validity and reliability, supporting their use in the clinical screening of adolescent bipolar disorder.关键词
