Effect of 590 nm LED light irradiation on the expression of CD31 in vascular endothelial cells of rosacea-like skin lesions in mice

Abstract
Objective To investigate the effect of 590nm LED light irradiation on the expression of CD31 in vascular endothelial cells of rosacea-like skin lesions in mice.Methods Female BALB/c mice were randomly assigned to either a control group(PBS)or an experimental group(LL-37)or treatment group(LL-37+LED 590 nm light),with 5 mice in each group.The PBS group received an intradermal injection of 40 μl PBS solution on the back,while mice in the other groups were injected with an equal volume of the antimicrobial peptide LL-37 to establish a rosacea mouse model(injections were administered every 12 hours for a total of 4 times).After successful model establishment,mice in the treatment group were treated with 590nm LED light.Skin changes were observed,and after treatment completion,dorsal skin tissue was collected.By immunohistochemistry method,we assessed The expression of CD31 protein.Results Compared with the PBS group,the expression level of CD31 protein was significantly increased in the LL-37 group(P<0.05).Compared with the LL-37 group,the expression level was significantly decreased in the 590 nm LED group(P<0.05).Conclusion 590 nm LED light may improve telangiectasia and inhibit angiogenesis in rosacea lesions by suppressing the expression of CD31 in vascular endothelial cells.关键词
