Clinical Effect of Modified Sihuang Tincture with Diandao Powders Combined with Adapalene Gel in the Treatment of Lung Meridian Wind-heat Type of Mild to Moderate Acne

Abstract
Objective:To investigate the clinical effect of modified Sihuang Tincture with Diandao Powders combined with Adapalene Gel in the treatment of lung meridian wind-heat type of mild to moderate acne.Method:A total of 110 patients with lung meridian wind-heat type of mild to moderate acne admitted to Ganzhou Hospital of TCM from January to April 2025 were classified into control group and observation group by random number table method,with 55 cases in each group.The control group was treated with Adapalene Gel,while the observation group was treated with modified Sihuang Tincture with Diandao Powders on the basis of the control group.Both groups were treated for 14 days.The comprehensive treatment effect of diseases,symptoms scores and curative effect of TCM syndromes,and recurrence rate were compared between the two groups.The individual skin lesion symptoms scores,TCM syndromes scores and inflammatory factors(IL-4,IL-8,IFN-γ)were compared in the two groups before and after treatment,and the adverse reactions during treatment were recorded.Result:Compared with the control group,the comprehensive total effective rate of diseases and the total effective rate of TCM syndromes in the observation group were higher,and the recurrence rate was lower(P<0.05).After treatment,the scores of primary and secondary symptoms of TCM syndromes,the score of individual skin lesion symptoms,and the levels of IL-4,IL-8,and IFN-γ in the two groups were lower compared to those before treatment,and those in the observation group were lower than those in the control group(P<0.05).There was no statistically significant difference in the incidence of adverse reactions between the two groups(P>0.05).Conclusion:Modified Sihuang Tincture with Diandao Powders combined with Adapalene Gel can effectively relieve skin lesion manifestations of lung meridian wind-heat type of mild to moderate acne,inhibit inflammatory cascade reaction,and reduce the risk of recurrence.关键词
