The Application Effect of the Emotional Counterbalance Tuina Therapy in Elderly Patients with Post-stroke Hemiplegia Complicated with Post-stroke Depression

Abstract
Objective:To investigate the application effect of the emotional counterbalance Tuina therapy in elderly patients with post-stroke hemiplegia complicated with post-stroke depression(PSD).Method:A total of 80 elderly patients with post-stroke hemiplegia complicated with PSD who visited the Rehabilitation Department of Jiujiang NO.1 People's Hospital from January 2022 to June 2025 were selected and divided into the observation group and the control group by random number table method,with 40 cases in each group.The control group was treated with acupuncture and conventional rehabilitation training combined with Fluoxetine,while the observation group was given the emotional counterbalance Tuina therapy on the basis of the control group.Both groups were treated continuously for 8 weeks.The clinical efficacy,depression status,motor function and activities of daily living of the two groups were compared.Result:After treatment,the total clinical effective rate of the observation group was 92.50％,significantly higher than 75.00％of the control group(P<0.05).After treatment,the HAMD-17 score and SDS score of the observation group were significantly lower than those of the control group(P<0.05).After treatment,the scores of the upper and lower limbs of the Fugl-Meyer assessment(FMA)in the observation group were significantly higher than those in the control group(P<0.05).After treatment,the Barthel index score of the observation group was significantly higher than that of the control group(P<0.05).Conclusion:The emotional counterbalance Tuina therapy can effectively improve depressive mood,promote the recovery of motor function,and demonstrate significant clinical efficacy in elderly patients with post-stroke hemiplegia complicated with PSD.关键词
