醒脑复元汤联合头穴埋线治疗阿尔茨海默病的临床研究
Clinical Study on Xingnao Fuyuan Decoction Combined with Scalp Acupoint Catgut Embedding in the Treatment of Alzheimer's Disease

Abstract
Objective:To explore the clinical efficacy of Xingnao Fuyuan Decoction combined with scalp acupoint catgut embedding in addition to the conventional western medicine treatment in the treatment of Alzheimer's disease(AD),and to provide practical evidence for the integrated traditional Chinese and western medicine treatment of AD.Method:A total of 92 patients with AD were selected from Suizhou Hospital of Traditional Chinese Medicine from January 2023 to December 2024.They were randomly allocated into group A and group B,with 46 cases in each group.Group A received conventional western medicine treatment(Donepezil Hydrochloride Tablets),while group B received a combination of Xingnao Fuyuan Decoction and scalp acupoint catgut embedding based on the treatment of group A.Both groups were treated for one month.The TCM syndrome scores,cognitive function and dementia severity[Alzheimer's disease assessment scale-cognitive subscale(ADAS-Cog13),clinical dementia rating-sum of boxes(CDR-SB),and mini-mental state examination(MMSE)]before and after treatment,clinical efficacy,and adverse reactions were compared between the two groups.Result:After treatment,the TCM syndrome score in group B was significantly lower than that in group A(P<0.05).After treatment,the ADAS-Cog13 and CDR-SB scores in group B were lower than those in group A,while the MMSE score was higher than that in group A(P<0.05).The total effective rate was significantly higher in group B compared to group A(P<0.05).The incidence of adverse reactions in group B was similar to that in group A,with no statistically significant difference(P>0.05).Conclusion:On the basis of conventional western medicine therapy,the combination of Xingnao Fuyuan Decoction and scalp acupoint catgut embedding demonstrates a satisfactory clinical effect in treating AD.This combined regimen can alleviate patients'symptoms and dementia severity,improve cognitive function with fewer adverse reactions,indicating a combination of both effectiveness and safety.关键词
