Efficacy of Neuromuscular Electrical Stimulation Therapy Combined with Galantamine in the Treatment of Hemiplegia after Cerebral Hemorrhage

Abstract
Objective:To investigate the efficacy of neuromuscular electrical stimulation therapy combined with Galantamine in the treatment of hemiplegia after cerebral hemorrhage.Method:A total of 60 patients with hemiplegia after cerebral hemorrhage who were admitted to the Second People's Hospital of Jingdezhen from January 2024 to September 2025 were selected.The patients were randomly divided into the control group(treated with conventional therapy)and the study group(treated with neuromuscular electrical stimulation therapy combined with Galantamine on the basis of the control group)by random number table method,with 30 cases in each group.The treatment course of both groups was 14 days.The improvement of muscle strength,motor function and prognosis of the two groups were compared.Result:After 14 days of treatment,the total effective rate of the study group was higher than that of the control group(P<0.05).After 14 days of treatment,the modified Rankin scale(mRS)scores of both groups decreased compared with those before treatment,while the Fugl-Meyer assessment scale(FMA)scores,action research arm test(ARAT)scores,and Berg balance scale scores increased compared with those before treatment,those in the study group were superior to the control group(P<0.05).Conclusion:Neuromuscular electrical stimulation therapy combined with Galantamine in the treatment of hemiplegia after cerebral hemorrhage can effectively improve the prognosis and muscle strength of patients,and the therapeutic effect is definite.关键词
