Expert consensus on narrative medicine education and teaching in China's medical colleges and universities(2025)

摘要

Abstract

To promote the standardized development of narrative medicine education in China's medical colleges and universities,the Narrative Medicine Branch of the Chinese Preventive Medicine Association organized an interdisciplinary team to develop this consensus.The team designed a structured expert consultation questionnaire through systematically reviewing literature and combining it with interview materials.Two rounds of expert consultation were conducted using the modified Delphi method,resulting in 14 recommendations.The consensus covered three core areas,namely,the value manifestation of narrative medicine education and teaching,the policy and mechanism guarantee,and implementation pathways.This aimed to provide systematic guidance for curriculum development,faculty training,and teaching quality evaluation of narrative medicine in medical colleges and universities,thereby fostering in-depth integration of medical humanities education and clinical practice.
