2009-2021年广西柳州市鼻咽癌流行特征及变化趋势分析
Analysis of the epidemiological characteristics and trends of nasopharyngeal carcinoma in Liuzhou,Guangxi,2009-2021

Abstract
Objective To analyze the incidence and mortality characteristics and temporal trends of nasopharyngeal carcinoma(NPC)in Liuzhou,Guangxi from 2009 to 2021,and to provide a reference for formulating scientific-based NPC prevention and control strategies in Liuzhou.Methods Based on the database of China Tumor Information Platform and the China Disease Prevention and Control Information System-Population Death Information Registration and Management System,the incidence and mortality of NPC in Liuzhou from 2009 to 2021 were calculated by urban and rural areas,gender and age.China standard population structure in 2000 was used to calculate the age-standardized incidence rate by Chinese standard population(ASIRC)and age-standardized mortality rate by Chinese standard population(ASMRC)of China population.Segi's world standard population structure was used to calculate the age-standardized incidence rate by world standard population(ASIRW)and age-standardized mortality rate by world standard population(ASMRW).The Joinpoint model was used to calculate the average annual percentage change(AAPC)and its 95%confidence interval(CI)for the ASIRC and ASMRC of NPC to evaluate temporal trends.Results From 2009 to 2021,the crude incidence of NPC in Liuzhou was 4.47/105,with an ASIRC of 3.46/105 and an ASIRW of 3.18/105.The crude mortality rate was 2.62/105,with an ASMRC of 1.87/105 and an ASMRW of 1.80/105.During this period,both the ASIRC(AAPC=6.733%,95%CI:4.848%-8.652%,P<0.001)and ASMRC(AAPC=7.619%,95%CI:5.553%-9.726%,P<0.001)of NPC in Liuzhou showed an overall upward trend.The trends in incidence and mortality rates among different genders and urban/rural areas were consistent with the overall patterns:higher in males than in females,and higher in urban areas than in rural areas;relatively low in younger age groups,and rising gradually with age.The incidence rate peaked at 9.85/105 in the 65-69 age group,and the mortality rate peaked at 9.28/105 in the 80-84 age group,followed by a gradual decline with increasing age.Conclusions From 2009 to 2021,the incidence and mortality rates of NPC in Liuzhou showed an upward trend.Males over 60 years old in urban areas are the key population for early NPC screening and intervention.关键词
