Efficacy of Argatroban Combined with Dual Antiplatelet Therapy in the Treatment of Acute Cerebral Infarction and the Level of Serum S100 Calcium-Binding Protein B and Neuropeptide Y

Abstract
Objective:To observe the efficacy of argatroban combined with dual antiplatelet therapy in the treatment of acute cerebral infarction(ACI)and the levels of serum S100 calcium-binding protein B(S100B)and neuropeptide Y(NPY).Methods:A total of 120 patients with ACI who were admitted to our hospital from June 2022 to June 2023 were selected as the research subjects.They were randomly divided into the control group(receiving dual antiplatelet therapy)and the observation group(receiving argatroban combined with dual antiplatelet therapy),with 60 cases in each group.The National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale(NIHSS)scores,Barthel index(BI)scores,whole blood high shear viscosity,plasma viscosity,whole blood low shear viscosity,nitric oxide(NO),endothelin-1(ET-1),serum S100B and NPY levels were compared before and after treatment.The clinical efficacy and the occurrence of adverse reactions were compared between the two groups.Results:After treatment,the NIHSS scores,whole blood high shear viscosity,plasma viscosity,whole blood low shear viscosity ET-1,serum S100B and NPY levels in both groups decreased,and those in the observation group were lower than those in the control group(P<0.05).BI scores and NO levels increased,and those in the observation group were higher than those in the control group(P<0.05).The total effective rate of the observation group was higher than that of the control group(93.33%vs 73.33%,P<0.05).There was no significant difference in the total incidence of adverse reactions between the two groups(continuity correction χ2=1.035,P=0.309).Conclusion:Argatroban combined with dual antiplatelet therapy is effective in the treatment of ACI,which can improve neurological function and vascular endothelial function,reduce blood viscosity,regulate serum S100B and NPY levels,and improve daily living ability with high safety.关键词
