Abstract
This study analyzed the effects of MFC on the pore structure of paper-based separators by incorporating MFC.The mechanical prop-erties,thermal dimensional stability,porosity,air permeability,pore size,and pore size distribution of the prepared paper-based separators were analyzed and compared with the commercial Celgard2325 separator.This demonstrated the potential of MFC-reinforced paper-based sepa-rators for use in lithium-ion battery separators.The results indicated that the MFC-10 paper-based separator,prepared with 10%MFC content,exhibits stable performance.Its average pore size was 2.124 μm,with a maximum pore size of 3.276 μm.The porosity reached 69%,signifi-cantly higher than Celgard2325's 39%.Electrolyte absorption rate was 263%,with an electrolyte impregnation height of 35.6 mm,indicating superior electrolyte wetting performance compared to Celgard2325.Battery samples using the MFC-10 paper-based separator demonstrated su-perior rate performance compared to Celgard2325 at discharge rates of 0.2,0.5,and 1 C.关键词
